Konserter 1971
1971 var året Elvis gjorde sitt första engagemang i Lake Tahoe. Det var ett år som, förutom Lake Tahoe och två vändor i Las Vegas, bara bjöd på en enda turné i övriga delar av USA. I Lake Tahoe gjorde Elvis 28 konserter, men endast tre (!) finns släppta på CD hittills! En mycket underdokumenterad säsong av Elvis karriär. Men troligtvis finns det en hel del kvar här att ge ut på CD (för oss nördar som vill ha ALLA konserter…).
I studion spelade han in bland annat sina två sista jul- och gospelalbum, ”Elvis Sings The Wonderful World Of Christmas” respektive ”He Touched Me”. Det finns även en hel del fina singlar från studioåret 1971, som exempelvis ”I’m Leavin'” och ”It’s Only Love”. Dessa två släpptes bara på singlar och kom aldrig ut på någon original-LP.
